Error can't move ... .svn/tmp/entries to ./svn access denied...

Does anybody else get this error message when doing a large checkout?

If this does happen, what is the correct way to correct the
situation/resume the checkout?

If I simply try to resume I get, a XML Parser error (although I think I
have had different errors in the past).

Basically it seems the workspace is left in an inconsistent state that
is hard to fix, and the only solution is to start again and hope for the
best?!

This is on Windows XP Pro SP2 all updates, using tortoiseSVN, although I
have run into similar problems using the command line. At one point I
uninstalled Tortoise and my checkout which had been continuously faling
in the above manner worked on the next try (coincidence? Reboot helped?
Who knows?!).
