Hi,
I went back to basics and created a simple test
package to use with
svn_load_dirs.pl . I was able to get svn_load_dirs.pl
to work with my
simple test package containing the following files:
./red
./red/tomato
./blue
./blue/one
./blue/two
./blue/three
./green
./green/monkey
./green/donkey
./green/elephant
I then imported and tagged this as 1.0 before creating
new drops 1.1 and
1.2 with minor
changes. I was able to get this to work.
The following sample in the red book was used as a
guide:
$ svn_load_dirs.pl -t libcomplex-1.1
\
http://svn.example.com/repos/vendor/libcomplex \
current
\
/path/to/libcomplex-1.1
When I tried this during my first use of
svn_load_dirs.pl, I used '.' to
reference the
current working directory for loading the new vendor
drop. This was the
syntax I had
been using:
$ svn_load_dirs.pl -t libcomplex-1.1
\
http://svn.example.com/repos/vendor/libcomplex \
current
\
.
I am not sure if this was the cause of the problem the
user account or
the file-system
I was running it on. At least I now understand how to
use it however.
Now I'm ready to get out of the sandpit ...
Thanks,
Graeme
