Interesting... where could one learn more about the mirror functionality?
As background, I was just about to look at extending the ASP_DOT_NET_HACK to
a) Support more than just Windows platforms; and
b) Allow the end user to specify the name of the .svn directory via the
ASP_DOT_NET_HACK environment variable (probably renaming it along the way).
What does this have to do with mirroring, I hear you cry?
Well, possibly nothing. But I am trying to solve the problem of tracking an
external source tree, which is currently maintained with subversion, along
with my own internal source tree, built upon that external one, which is
maintained by subversion. The solution everyone keeps pointing me at is
"svk", but it seems more logical to me to simply checkout the external
repository with a .svn.blahblahblah subdirectory, and then import that into
my local repository.
Now, I hear you're working on mirroring functionality, and I wonder, "What's
that? How's it going to work? Will it meet my needs better or worse than
svk or my ASP_DOT_NET_HACK hack?"
