1. Works a lot better than Windows.
2. You should be okay. You may want a few folks to have a client so you
can get past revisions if you need to. Recommend svnX or SmartSVN for stand
alone clients for the Mac. There are no OS X equivalents of Tortoise
3. Use darwinports (http://darwinports.opendarwin.org) to build your
Subversion install if 'unstable' is a word worth avoiding for Fink
(http://fink.sourceforge.net/) to get 1.3.0. You may also want to contact
the folks at OrcaWare (http://www.orcaware.com). They helped us install an
enterprise Subversion solution on a pair of OS X Servers and an OS X Raid.
