Ah I see whats going on. The db/revs files stores the node info about
each file in the same directories as the changed file(s) as well as for
each directory in the tree above. My fault for assuming that the files
contained records for every file in the repository.
 
I'll have to talk to the application developers about flattening out the
repository.
