Hi,

VMWare will run on (Redhat ES4) Linux or Windows. We are running two Dell Power Edge 1850 systems with RedHat ES4 Linux.
Get a log of Memory and a fast CPU I have a dozen VM systems running on each box. You do not need Apache Tomcat to run either. If you go to the VMware web site www.vmware.com it will give you the information you need.
