Solution: Unable to set position pointer in file ../revs/1

I found out what the issue was from this article:

the issue was that the installation of Apache and Subversion were pointing
to different apr libraries. Once I re-compiled subversion with the
-with-apr and -with-apr-util directives pointing to the apr libraries used
by Apache, all is working fine.

Subversion is now working like a charm!! Great software, I am very excited
to start using it!
