SVN over NFS filesystem

Hi,

I'm new to svn and I trying to set up my repo over a nfs file system the
configuration is:

   OS: linux - Debian kernel-image-2.6.8-2-686-smp

  My repo location: /var/svndir/repo

where svndir is a nfs directory on a filesystem server, my fstab is
something like

   nfsserver:/mnt/svndir /var/svndir nfs rw,noauto 0 0

Is there any problem to use his configuration?, as I read svn supports nfs,
but also I read an article on the inet that sais that this is not possible,
is this information true?. Does anyone know any useful link on this subject?

Thank you all very much in advance.

Best regards,

Nacho
