Error on Commit

From: Rob Brandt <bronto_at_csd-bes.net>

I did a merge from one branch to another's working copy, and now want to commit
the working copy to the repository.

However I am getting an error. It sounds like some corruption in the repository
database(?):

Error: Commit fialed (details follow):
Error: MERGE request failed on '/myproject/trunk/engine/classes'
Error: Cannot modify transaction named '3p' in filesystem
'/var/lib/subversion/myproject/db'

Each time I attempt the commit, the transaction name increments; the one prior
to this was '3o', the next one will be '3q', etc.

How do I fix this?

Rob
