checkout, but how?

hi, i'm a begiinner, as you can see.
(sorry for bad english)

i have imported some files in an svn-repository. when i try to
"checkout" them, i get the error message (in german) "svn: Keine
Berechtigung die Basis der Änderung zu öffnen". it makes something like
that: "cannot be opened because of missing rights of the base". i have
checked the files passwd, authz, conf, they should be ok. i could import
a little "project" from Eclipse via Subclipse.
if You understand my problem, please send a massege.
