directory timestamps not preserved on svn export

Directory last commit times are not being preserved on export from svn.

Is a bug in the way export works? I googled and searched issue tracker
and could not find much information on the subject.

I am using this version of subversion on centos 4.2:

svn, version 1.2.0 (r14790)
   compiled Jun 6 2005, 07:09:34
