Inside our network (using svnserve) we don’t get any issues, myself using
the vpn - I don’t get any issues - but another one of the guys using the vpn
gets constant issues.

The only difference is that I am on a 2mbit / 128kb pipe and the other guy
is on a 10mbit pipe.

We are both using recent tsvn clients - im completely at a loss..

Interesting. Do you see timeouts only on the VPN, not with svnserve
alone? I've been using the MS VPN stuff quite a lot lately and see no
timeouts, so that suggests it at least can be configured to make it
right. But I don't know how that is done...
