I'm at a loss. I guess there is something wrong with your Apache or
Subversion Installation.

This is VERY strange.

You might try to isolate the problem by doing your stress test with local
subversion repository (using file:///...) or svnserve (svn://...).

You might also skip ahead and download the packages for Apache and
Subversion again and reinstall them. This might or might not help.
