Broken repository. svnadmin verify and dump report a checksum mismatch.

Over the last two months we have been building up a repository based on a
large code base built up over the past 5 years. After 57 commits the
repository is now sitting at 2.08GBs and we have run into a problem. 4
revisions are corrupt. “svnadmin verify” fails on revision 39. Using
“svnadmin dump”, I’ve identified that the broken revisions are 39, 40, 42
and 43. The error reported by verify and dump is always something like:

svnadmin: Checksum mismatch while reading representation:

   expected: 1747876286b5905aed9d25c03931dbd9

     actual: 5970854c45205305d5a129ea7d313ec5

Does anyone have any ideas what could have caused the revisions to get
corrupt, and more importantly how do I fix things? As it stands, I can’t
checkout or update a number of my repository sub trees.

My OS is XP Pro SP2 on both the client and server.

Any help would be appreciated.

John
