Since we're talking testimonials:

I have a small web page on pair.com, which is a fairly large web server
farm in Pittsburgh. They don't supply Subversion (or didn't last time I
looked), but they give you shell accounts on FreeBSD on all but the very
cheapest plan, and it was really not that hard to install svn myself.
They have fantastic service (email based), with almost no downtime since
I first got an account there 9 years ago. They also support open
source, by mirroring a number of open source projects at
mirrors.pair.com. They are interested in web hosting, not Subversion
hosting, but they do the web stuff so well that Subversion just
naturally works well too.
