Reverting back to an old version

hi everyone, I've been struggling to get be able to revert to a previous
version of a file. The file is a text file (actionscript.as). i'm a
newbie but have done my homework. i've read through all the documenation
a few times but still need some help.

I think I found the solution but I have been known to mess things up
trying to get it to work. Is this right?

1. select file > show log
2. select version after the version i want to revert to IE, i want to
revert to version 72 so i pick 73
3. select revert to changes from this revision

i do that and i get a "conflicted" error. so,

1. i right click on the same file and now select "edit conflicts"
2. in tortoise merge under the "theirs" pane i find the first change
"+", right click and select "use whole file"
3 save the file and commit it back to the server

Best Regards,
Judah
