Inconsistent line ending style error on propget

Hi,

I've set the the svn:ignore property of the root workspace folder to
a list of items as described in the subversion book. Now when I query
the svn:ignore property, I get the following error message:

kratky% svn propget svn:ignore .
subversion/libsvn_subr/subst.c:506: (apr_err=135000)
svn: Inconsistent line ending style

I'm using subversion 1.2.3. Is there are work-around?
