Re: SubVersion 1.2 for debian

This thread's rather off-topic and I apologise for continuing it.
But, There's More Than One Way To Do It. Instead of editing
/etc/apt/preferences, you can just do:
# apt-get install subversion/unstable
This setting will persist for subversion - apt-get/dselect etc will
thereafter upgrade it to unstable's version - but the default version for
other packages remains unchanged.
I find this 'one-shot' way easier than maintaining a customised
/etc/apt/preferences file. When I used to edit that file I used to
occasionally screw it up in some fashion, sometimes with disastrous
results. But maybe you're not the fool that I am :-)
