Hello,
Just wondering if anyone on the list of late has any success stories to
share with regard to svnreplicate. I've been trying to test it with limited
success, which I suspect is either due to (a) issues with permisisions on
the repository, or (b) issues with the configuration of the ssh authorized
keys file. I've followed the testing tutorial at
http://www.lug-delhi.org/downloads/subversion/testsvnreplicate.mkd and have
only had success with file:/// protocol and slave and master setup on the
same box with all svn commands being executed as user root.
Any attempts to use svn as any other user seems to cause the svnreplicate
script to hang during the start-commit hook script call to svnreplicate, and
I've tried every possible combination of user permissions and ssh authorized
key file setups I can think of. I would also add that the general SVN setup
is completely functional otherwise - repositories are not owned by root and
are used over apache - https by many users. Is there any additional
documentation or anecdotal evidence (suggestions, tips, tricks) anyone can
offer?
Regards,
Matt
