very confused about working copy behavior

Things were working pretty well for me, but now i have a strange problem.
I have a working copy structure like this:
c:\Repo - has svn icon overlay
 |-- projA - has overlay
 |-- projB - has overlay
 |-- projC - has overlay

If I right click on A or B, I see the commands "commit" and "update" which
is what I'm used to. But for some reason now, when I right click on C all I
have in the menu is:
SVN Checkout - it's as if it's lost it's awareness of this versioned folder?

This is really confusing me, I don't understand what I did?

I've got another odd problem in that a sub project to projC(dir structure
like this):
projC
 |-- subA
 |-- subB
 |-- subC

I have added A and B and they behave like I would expect, icon overlays,
etc.
I added C and did a commit, but there still is no icon over it(tried
refreshing, etc)

I'm running TSVN on winXP pro.

Thank you for any suggestions or help,
Steve
