I have several users complaining of this and they're using a variety of
clients.

On the same host (server and client):

(from --version)

svn, version 1.2.0 (r14790)
   compiled Jun 6 2005, 07:34:49

Copyright (C) 2000-2005 CollabNet.
Subversion is open source software, see http://subversion.tigris.org/
This product includes software developed by CollabNet
(http://www.Collab.Net/).

The following repository access (RA) modules are available:

* ra_dav : Module for accessing a repository via WebDAV (DeltaV) protocol.
  - handles 'http' scheme
  - handles 'https' scheme
* ra_svn : Module for accessing a repository using the svn network
protocol.
  - handles 'svn' scheme
* ra_local : Module for accessing a repository on local disk.
  - handles 'file' scheme

JUST FYI, this is the current SVN from RHEL 4.

from svn info:

Path: .
URL: https://myhost/svn/myrepo/trunk
Repository UUID: bcb60200-e9e0-0310-81b8-cd74767dd0c5
Revision: 3648
Node Kind: directory
Schedule: normal
Last Changed Author: esmith
Last Changed Rev: 3648
Last Changed Date: 2005-09-22 16:21:12 -0400 (Thu, 22 Sep 2005)

And just to show, here is the error from svn log:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
r136 | jdoe | 2000-12-18 13:21:56 -0500 (Mon, 18 Dec 2000) | 2 lines

foobar updates

svn: REPORT request failed on '/svn/myrepo/!svn/bc/3648/trunk'
svn: The REPORT request returned invalid XML in the response: XML parse
error at line 23795: not well-formed (invalid token)
(/svn/myrepo/!svn/bc/3648/trunk)

If there's any other information I can provide, I'm happy to.

Thanks for helping me with this!
