Add me to the list of people who don't get peg revisions.  It seems to 
me that when you specify revision x to checkout, it should look in the 
repository under revision x, not the head, and check out the files it 
finds there.  Based on the error messages people have reported seeing 
and later being told they need to use a peg revision, the client looks 
in the head revision even though you specify a checkout on a previous 
revision, and this just doesn't make any sense to me.
