Error on Checkout

Hello,

I just installed Subversion on my Mandrake 9.2 system. When I try a checkout, I
get:

svn: RA layer request failed
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/svn/pekwm'
svn: The PROPFIND request returned invalid XML in the response: Unknown error.
(/svn/pekwm)

I can't find anything in the manpage or FAQ that resembles this. Any hints?
