svn: Can't read length line in file xyz

I get the below error while checking out, or while I
am doing update operations.
svnadmin verify and dump also gives the same error.

"svn: Can't read length line in file
'/data/repo/db/revs/94"

It seems all my earlier backups which I used to
perform using hotbackup scripts are also of no use
because it also gives exact same error.

Can anybody tell me how I can fix this problem?
