He's on holiday at the moment. When I see him next I'll ask him about this
because I believe he intends to make a serious project of making SVN look and
feel like CVS. I don't know how far he has taken this pet project, I suspect
not far yet as we haven't been using Subversion that long.

My main point in posting was to add support to the notion of a merge process,
if possible, more similar to that of cvs merge functionality, i.e. a one line
command.
