Svn import error

On trying to import a directory into a new repository using svn 1.2.3,
several directories are listed as being added, and then I get the
following:

svn: Safe data ']' was followed by non-ASCII byte 127: unable to convert
to/from UTF-8

Is there any way to determine which file is triggering this error? Any
way to get around it, other than deleting the file?
