can't read length line in file %s

Hi,

does anyone know, how to recover from this error (can't read length line
in file)? :

[Fri Aug 26 09:38:19 2005] [error] [client ...] Provider encountered an error
while streaming a REPORT response. [500, #0]

[Fri Aug 26 09:38:19 2005] [error] [client ...] A failure occurred while
driving the update report editor [500, #200002]

[Fri Aug 26 09:38:19 2005] [error] [client ...] Can't read length line in
file '/opt/svnroot/main/db/revs/143' [500, #200002]

It's a FSFS repository, svnadmin recover does not help. svnadmin verify stops
at revision 143 with an error. svnadmin dump also reports an error at rev
143, so dump & load isn't an alternative...

Regards,
Uwe
