Yes, that is one thing, we have that already.

I was envisioning something like tool tips (no click, mouse-over only)
and syntax highlighting.

Diffs in (* big *) tool tips :-?

Alerts on commit coming to your IM client (instead of e-mail)...

I even got a name for it :-D
