RE: BDB Remote Access

You could put the repo on an NFS server, then mount that directory on the
webserver and service it up via Apache. But that won't work with BDB (which
isn't NFS safe), so you'd have to convert over to FSFS. In my experience,
access to a repo mounted via NFS is noticeably slower than one on local disk
(though the Netapp I was mounting off of is a bit loaded).

AFAIK, there is no way to do this with BDB, as it an embedded database
system rather than a client/server system.

Subject: BDB Remote Access

Hello:

We currently run svn using BDB and Apache/mod_svn running on the same
box. Is there a way to configure mod_svn to access the database on
another server? Is there a way to separate the front end from the back
end in any other configuration?

Thanks,

Robert
