Deltify crashes since upgrading to 1.2

I get the following messages in the Apache error log about once a week
since upgrading to Subversion 1.2.0:

[Fri Aug 12 19:19:05 2005] [error] (160029)APR does not understand
this error code: cleanup_deltify: error deltifying against revision
3274 in repository 'E:\\SVN\\Repos/sw'

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

[Fri Aug 12 19:19:06 2005] [error] Parent: child process exited with
status 3 -- Aborting.

The commit succeeds and no data seems to be lost, but it leaves the
repository locked and inaccessible. I have to run "db_recover" and
"svnadmin recover" on the repository to get it back to a working
state. Running "svnadmin deltify" on the repository also crashes and
leaves the repository locked.

I'm using Subversion 1.2.0 on Windows 2003 Server with Apache 2.0.54
and the Berkeley DB backend. I'm considering switching to the FSFS
backend to see if that helps.

Does anyone have any ideas on what's going wrong?
