property namespace(s)

  just playing around and noticed that you can't use the same name for
both a "regular" and an unversioned property (at least on the same
file). is there any reason for this (other than the obvious one that
it might confuse the heck out of some folks)?

  it would seem that, based on how you access the two types of
property, they could be defined as being in separate namespaces. just
asking.
