Provider encountered an error while streaming a REPORT response. [400, #0]

Hi,

while trying to sync my repository to the laptop using svk 1.01, I
sometimes get aborted transmissions. The message on the client (svk) is:

RA layer request failed: REPORT request failed on '/svn/SimManager/!svn/bc/186': REPORT of '/svn/SimManager/!svn/bc/186': Could not read response body: connection was closed by server. (http://xxx...)

In the Apache error log on the server (svn) I get:

[error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] Provider encountered an error while streaming a REPORT response. [400, #0]

The error occurs on large transfers, several hundred megabytes, via
local lan. It seems to be reproducible, i.e. pop up at the same place
when I repeat the whole transmission. However, when I just restart the
sync after the error, it resumes starting at the revision that had
caused the error and after some time completes successfully.

There is a somewhat similar bug report in Apache bugzilla,
http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=34332 maybe the svn
dav provider might have a similar problem?

Configuration details:

    Client:

        OS FreeBSD 5.4
        svn 1.2.1
svk 1.01, mirroring from the server via http://....

    Server:

        OS RedHat 9.0
        svn 1.2.1 compiled from source
        Apache2 2.0.54 compiled from source

I was going to open a bug report, but the entry web page urged me to
contact the mailing list first...

Could you please cc: me directly on any replies, I am not subscribed to
the list. Thnx.
