I may have missed something, but P4 doesn't allow you to do this. It
has almost the same Working Copy model as SVN, and if you don't commit
your local changes, you won't be able to access them from an other
machine.

Steven, I'm currently on a P4 / SVN comparison for my company, if you
have further questions, I'll be glad to help (cause I may ask back too
:) )
