Versions file corrupt

I was getting this error "svn: bdb: call implies an access method
which is inconsistent with previous calls" Which after a bit of
googling turned up this faq entry. The error actually had to do with
my revisions table, but I decided to take a look any how.

http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html#bdb41-tabletype-bug

Problem is that neither my copies table or my revisions table where
set to the wrong type. Any guesses at what else might be causing
this error? the faq said if this doesnt work then contact the list,
so I am looking for advice from the experts :)

Thanks for any help you can provide.
