extract dir wo full update of woking copy

Hello, users.

We have the following problem.
We work with the repository (svn/rep).
There are two working copies (call them working copy A and working copy B).
We create directory svn/rep/dir1 (with some files) in the working copy A,
then commit this directory into specified repository (svn/rep).
How we can get this directory (svn/rep/dir1) in working copy B without
fully updating of this working copy?
And yet another question: how to turn off auto merging while updating a working
copy?
