As another flawour of the similar idea, sometimes I wish subversion had just
one .svn directory in the root of the WC, and not the multiple .svn dirs
scattered all over the working copy. There are cases when these hidden
directories cause annoyance (e.g. when someone replicates a directory with
'cp -a' ;).

But that is by no means a suggestion to change anything ;)
