RE: Ready to use

P42svn is difficult to use. I downloaded Perl, p4perl, installed them, still
complaining compilation error. Not sure what happened.

Wondering is there a p42svn.exe somewhere?

Thanks,

Calvin

Subject: Ready to use

Finally, I have to say I feel totally comfortable with SVN now, and ready
for the switch.

I actually wrote a small program to generate 500,000 files under one folder
on a win2k machine, the performance, everything is perfectly fine. So I
guess my win2k3 will be OK with 500,000 files.

I am a little paranoid, but it's my source code, you know, my whole life
depend on it. :-)

Now, the fun part, I need to move my perforce depot to sub version and
change all my nant scripts. Change nant scripts will take a while (dah, it's
easy, but also wasy to make mistakes.) But the perforce shouldn't take long.

I am experimenting p42svn now. :-)

Thanks everybody!

By the way, Apache is a darn good thing! Better than IIS, not sure why MS
created IIS in the first place. But my development has to depend on IIS, no
choice.
