Checkout a working copy

Hello,

i had checked out a working copy of repository a to path c. Then i
deleted the working copy in path c, and tried to check out repository b
to path c. But svn complaints that there is already a working copy in
that path, albeit i deleted the files. What should i do to make svn
forget the working copy of repository a to path c?
