WebSVN status?

Doe anyone here have the inside scoop on websvn? Is it dead or just
"complete"? It doesn't appear that the project has had any significant
progress in the last year. I about to build a new machine for the
repository and was wondering if I should switch to something else if
websvn has in fact stalled. Its a very good product and works well in
our "high throughput" projects.

Is ViewCVS considered the web-based svn browser of choice now?
