HTML 4 compliant output from URL to repository

Hi,
 
I'm trying to parse in XML the output from a URL to a Subversion
Repository but this output is not HTML4 compliant.
 
My URL is something like http://shq-xsrc01:8080/svn/dqs/trunk/plsql/
and at the end of the output I got:
<hr noshade><em>Powered by <a
href="http://subversion.tigris.org/">Subversion</a> version 1.2.0
(r14790).</em>Notice that the <hr noshade> should be <hr noshade />.Is
this something that must be corrected from within Subversion or is it
something I can configure ?Thank you.
