RE: Case insensitivity in svn?

I can't speak for SVN developer, but I prefer my source control system
to be case sensitive (for all those languages that are case sensitive),
so I'll not press them for case insensitivity.

Even with the VB commands and variables being case insensitive, the data
e.g. user prompts and displays, would look silly "If TyPeD lIkE tHiS" -
it would be useful to see when and who made such a change.

Although it's not strictly on topic, try WinMerge2.2 if you want a case
insensitive comparison.
Edit | Options ... "Compare" tab.

It's only useful on a Windows platform obviously, but if you're using VB
I guess that's where you are.

Subject: Case insensitivity in svn?

Hello svn users,

is there a chance to make svn case insensitive? So if files get
compared changed letters (r-R, L-l, X-x) gets ignored?

Background:
I'm using VB6 with svn. Works all very nice but there is
a special problem with VB. VB is not case sensitive. For
svn this is no problem. But the VB6 IDE has a special
feature that corrects tokens.
But someone else had this problem before, so have a look
At this: http://svn.haxx.se/users/archive-2004-12/1054.shtml.

Would it be hard to accomplish that somehow? Does another diff
program help? If so which one for Windows?

Thanks in advance and have a nice weekend.

Robert
