It does not, finally.
I'm really surprised it worked twice and that it is not working any
more. Thats crazy, I still have my terminal logs with file listing in
the bundle showing .svn folder surviving a Pages edit and save session:

   | (14:21)$ ls
   | . .svn
Contents index.xml.gz
   | .. .typeAttributes.dict
boite.jpg thumbs

[ here I open the doc, edit and save it ]

   | (14:21)$ ls
   | . .svn
Contents index.xml.gz
   | .. .typeAttributes.dict
boite.jpg thumbs

[ here I remove the pict "boite.jpg" from the document, in Pages, and
save ]

   | (14:22)$ ls
   | . .typeAttributes.dict index.xml.gz
   | .. Contents thumbs

.svn folder is gone.

I've made the same experiment with the 'touch null.jpg' trick, and it
worked exactly the same way. And now, it won't work. grrr.
