        That would certainly be a reasonable interim solution. Thanks. Does
anyone have any experience on automating this to any extent?

        I agree with the others that in a future version, POSIX extended
attributes should be mapped to Subversion properties. Resource forks
may be depreciated, but extended attributes are going to be important to
support, and it isn't going to be just a MacOS X problem.
