windows compile problem

Hi All,
  This is a windows question.
  Am not a windows guy and am stuck with a silly link problem when trying to
compile subversion.

  Am getting the following error
  link : Too few arguments
  libapriconv : error PRJ0002 ....

  This happens for all libraries... whats more, even happens when I compile
httpd... so I beleive this must be a setting problem or something similar.
Could some windows pro help me with pointers.

Version information :
latest trunk revision of subversion
Windows XP
VS.Net 2003
