Upgrading to 1.2.0 on Linux

Hello,
I have 2 installation of Subversion: Windows and Linux
There is a README in Windows distribution with a big warning about
upgrading from 1.1.x because of bdb version change.
There is no such warning in source distribution, so the question is: the
procedure to upgrade from 1.1.x explained in win32 distribution does
apply to Linux too ?
