Duncan,

There's not a lot to the program, so there's not a lot to document :)

No, there's no reason for anybody to remove the program. Its pretty
useful and I use it myself. I also don't think it would change
substantially, but it may grow new features over time.

svnversion is covered in the Subversion book in the 'Subversion Complete
Reference' chapter, but it's not much more than the --help output. If
you'd like more documentation write up description and send it to the
Subversion book team.
