Alas, that opinion is usually out of fear and ignorance. "It's
always been this way, we don't ever want to change. Concurrency
couldn't possibly work, it's too dangerous!"

But it sounds like you're not in a position to argue or persuade,
you're only able to comply with decrees. Sorry about that.

Well, you'll be missing out on half the point of Subversion, but at
least it will be cheaper. :(
