Here's some dirt on PVCS:

This is a comparison between Perforce and other SCM systems, done a
few years ago. (I'm not trying to start any kind of Subversion vs
Perforce thing; it was the first thing that came to mind when I
thought of anti-PVCS dirt.)

You'll have to extrapolate from that to compare PCVS to Subversion.
