Atomic lock operation ?

Hello,

I'd like to know if a lock command is atomic ?

For instance, there are 3 files : aaa.txt, bbb.txt, ccc.txt. I want to
lock 3 files, but if at least one of them is already locked (or if the
operation is break due to network problem) I wish that the command lock
no file rather than locked only somes files...
