Sym links in a sandbox

From: Lan Barnes <lan_at_falleagle.net>

I have a file, xyz.conf, that exists in my sandbox in
.../trunk/server/xyz.conf, and also (the exact same file) exists in
.../trunk/client/xyz.conf. I want to make one of them a sym link so I
only have to maintain the file in one place.

My question is, if I do "svn add" in the directory in which this file
is a link, will subversion get it right? Or should I keep it an
undefined file in the dir in which it's a sym link.

In practice the file will exist on both the client and the server side
at runtime.

This marks something of a milestone for me, as I've never posted a live
question to this list before. I guess it calls for a Woo Hoo.

Thanks to all the developers for your wonderful work.
